Description
A sea level to 1000+ meter elevation species native to the Maluku Isands, New Guinea, the Caroline Islands, Fiji and Vanuatu. This plant can handle cool to warm conditions, and is an epiphyte in the wild, growing on tree branches. The attractive point of this species is the cluster of flowers it produces along side the canes when in bloom. Once mature, the cane will shed its foliage first, followed by the flower buds after.
