This is a remake of a primary hybrid but with a twist. Here we used a tetraploid amboinensis as the pod parent and the gigantea as the pollen parent. The reason we disid this was two fold, first to reduce the plant size with the tetraploid amboinensis genetics and seconfly to improve flower shape. The photos are of the first two to flower and they do not dissapoint! These have a citrus like fragrance. The flower spikes can produce year after year so as long as they are green don't cut them back. They often take a rest from blooming during shorter winter daylight. *Please note: these are in short spike as of 7/29/2025 and should flower in either September or early October.
